North Carolina quarterback Max Johnson plans to return to the Tar Heels in 2025 following a season-ending injury.
Johnson suffered a season-ending injury in October and will miss the remainder of the 2023 season.
The redshirt junior announced his decision to return to UNC on social media, saying that he is "excited to get back on the field with my teammates and compete for a championship." Johnson completed 62.3% of his passes for 2,280 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions in 2022.
