The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 115-107 in Game 3 of their opening round NBA Playoffs series Saturday night. The Nuggets now hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
The game was close throughout, with the Lakers leading by as many as 13 points in the third quarter. However, the Nuggets rallied in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Lakers 31-19 to secure the victory.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists. Jamal Murray added 24 points and 5 rebounds, while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 16 points.
LeBron James led the Lakers with 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Anthony Davis added 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook scored 17 points.
The Nuggets will now have a chance to take a 3-1 lead in the series when they host Game 4 on Monday night.
